The Yellow Line

Det Hvide Snit (The NoNoBut) has existed for 36 years in various constellations; 2 of the founders are still with the group! Det Hvide Snit started out playing traditional theater sports, but their quirky approach to life quickly brought new standards for improvisation on stage. The performance "The Yellow Line" is probably their best-known concept; a form that is only based on impulses from the stage space, i.e. a form without rules and restrictions. In the year 2000, Det Hvide Snit set the world record; the world's longest improvised scene; 24 hours, recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. Det Hvide Snit are known (infamous) for breaking all the rules, and for throwing themselves into theater projects that on paper seem hopeless and crazy - and always landing on their feet - more or less battered. In 2005 Snittet merged with another danish improv group "De Gales Division" - an equally fearless and crazy group, which meant that the group constantly developed and maintained its audience. Det Hvide Snit has taught new and experienced improv players, written books about improvisation, created special events for companies and organisations, hidden theatre, bachelor party events, participated in Danish and international improv festivals, forum theater and much, much more!
